Championship Golf was founded in 1986 with the objective of operating high quality golf events and outings for select clients.
Along with the adidas Golf Invitational, The Jim Flick Invitational and the TaylorMade Father & Son Invitational, Championship Golf also operates private programs for companies and groups to destinations throughout the world. These range from customer incentive programs, to special affinity groups.
Championship Golf is small and agile enough to provide unparalleled service, while experienced enough to meet and exceed all expectations.
Pat Mateer is founder and President of Championship Golf. Pat has competed both professionally (until 1985), and on the amateur level throughout the world. He has numerous victories to his credit, and joined a small and elite group when he shot a 59 at the Palmilla Golf Club in the 2nd round of the 1999 TaylorMade Invitational.
